When your design goes past 6 pages, it needs to become a booklet. Each page is a “side” of a sheet – so if you take an A4 piece of paper and fold it in half, that gives you 4 “sides”. We call this a 4pp job. When you need more than 6 pages, thats when we make a booklet.
The most cost effective way to make a booklet is saddlestitching. This is where we print on A3 or A4 paper, fold the paper in half and staple through the middle. We have technology to do this very efficiently and can run as few as 10 books for you this way.
When the amount of pages gets over about 52 (booklets work in multiples of 4 pages) we generally recommend alternative binding methods such as Perfect Binding or Coil Binding.
